2nd Annual Dickens of a Crawl adds to the seasonal cheer

A total of 75 participants took part in the 2nd Annual Dickens of a Crawl on December 1 and a total of $1,092 was raised for the Community and Family Resource Center's Community Christmas Dinner to be held on Christmas Day. The weather was beautiful as was the comraderie. The donations bring the total monies raised over the past three and a half years to $10,615, which have been distributed to a number of charity organizations throughout the community.

As we enter 2008, the Downtown Lafayette Pub Crawl Committee is hoping to expand the success of the crawls through the addition of new venues and activities. Stay tuned for exciting news about these upcoming changes.

"Fall Crawl" held in honor of a friend

Due to the untimely demise of a friend of crawlers, a decision was made to hold a crawl in his honor and to raise money for the Mental Health Association. Since this was a hastily organized crawl, attendance was less than normal, but a somewhat subdued crowd raised a total of $345 to assist in the work of the Mental Health Association. We miss you , Will!

Red, White and Brew Triple 7 Crawl

A summer crawl was held on 07/07/2007 to celebrate the birth of our country. A total fof 32 showed up for the crawl and $500 was raised for the Almost Home Humane Society. Almost Home is the former Tippecanoe County Humane Society and helps to find homes for stray cats, dogs and other animals. For information on the next crawl, check back from time to time.

3rd Annual Crawlo de Mayo breaks fundraising record

The 3rd Annual "Crawlo de Mayo" was held on May 5, 2007 and was the most successful one yet. A total of $720.00 was raised for the Lyn Treece Boys and Girls Club from the 50 plus participants. Next up is the "Red, White and Brew Triple 7 Crawl" to be held on 7/7/07. Stay tuned for details.
