1st Annual Crawlo de Mayo a success!

Pubcrawlers for a Cause held the first annual "Crawlo de Mayo" in downtown Lafayette on Saturday, May 7. Approximately 25 people joined the group at various venues and a total of $475 was raised for the Lafayette Crisis Center. A grand time was had by all.

The next crawl will be held sometime in the Fall. Watch this site for information!!

'Tis the Day

Hello all. It's about noon on the 7th of May, two hours from the start of the "Crawlo de Mayo". It's a gorgeous day, partly cloudy and about 75 degrees. That may hurt the turnout somewhat, since it's such a nice day to be outside, rather than in taverns drinking. However, we will accept any and all participants in our quest to raise funds for the Crisis Center. Stay tuned for the action-packed recap of the days festivities.

Donations sans participation

A remarkable development has occurred in the progression of the Pub Crawl for Charity concept. A number of people who will be unable to participate in the Crawl tomorrow have either given money to someone who will be there, or have sent money directly to the Lafayette Crisis Center in the name of the "Crawlo de Mayo" and Pubcrawlers for a Cause. Do we live in a great town with great people, or what?
