2nd Annual "Mardi Grawl" a rousing success

In what turned out to be the most attended crawl to date, the 2nd Annual "Mardi Grawl" was enjoyed by approximately 60 people and a total of $650 was raised for the Tippecanoe County Community Health Clinic. The crawl took place on Saturday, March 11, with stops at the Lafayette Brewing Company, Chumley's, Sgt. Preston's, Hunter's Pub Down Under, Luxie's, Crawdaddies and the Knickerbocker Saloon.

The participant list grew at each stop along the way and nearly half of the crowd consisted of new participants. Committee thanks go out to the bars and restaurants for their food and drink specials, and to all of the participants who helped to make the event successful. This crawl brings the total amount raised to date in all 8 crawls to over $4000. All of this money has been contributed to worthy charitable causes throughout the Lafayette community.

The next scheduled crawl will be the "2nd Annual Crawlo de Mayo", which will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2006. Check this site for further details.
